Chapter 5: New Beginnings
This post has been a long time coming and I'm sorry for the delay. So if you've been with me since the beginning, thank you for the support... Or is it you're welcome for the entertainment? And for the recorded I did just start singing "You're Welcome" from Moana, because I'm cool like that!
Any who...down to the nitty gritty of the post. Back in the middle of the summer I reached out to my buddy Jason and asked him a crazy question. I asked if he wanted to go into business with me. Now I was fully expecting him to say no, because well it’s me and I thought this was super crazy. The only inkling of hope I was giving myself was the fact I knew Jason wanted to own a business one day.
When his first response was, “Let me think about it and get back to you,” I thought, ”well at least he’s taking the time to think over how he will say no nicely.” Low and behold he texted me back saying he’s in!
Going at it alone is never a wise idea, for just about everything, especially when building a business. I’ve tired and tried and tried. Now that I have a partner things are getting done and moving forward. What we’ve accomplished in a few months took me several years to come close to!
I can’t wait to see what the future brings to this little company and 2 really good friends. We have a long way to go but I heard somewhere that the fun is in the journey, not the destination.
